The spatula's edge is thin enough to get under the rice without crushing the grains, which is exactly what I needed. My old one was scratched and this fits snugly into the cooker without wobbling.

Finally, a replacement that fits perfectly into my Zojirushi rice cooker without wobbling or sliding around. The spatula's flat edge lets me scoop out every last grain without scratching the inner pot. Exactly what I needed.

The original spatula cracked after two years, and this one fits the cooker just as snugly as the first. It’s the exact same shape and stiffness, so scooping rice doesn’t feel any different. Glad I found the right part without having to guess.
